Normandy and neighboring Brittany captivate visitors with their vast natural landscapes, diverse scenery, and historic sites. The nearby Cotentin in particular is home to Viking heritage, the triumphs of William the Conqueror, and more recent history with the Allied landings in World War II. Magical places such as Mont-Saint-Michel, urban flair in Caen and Granville, or a mix of everything in Bayeux. There are also zoos, amusement parks, and wonderful hiking and cycling trails to explore this unique region.
Le petit Valet
The Le petit Valet vacation rental is located amid picturesque hills on the edge of Norman Switzerland in a very quiet and rural setting. Nevertheless, many attractions are only a good hour’s drive away.
The apartment is part of a stone longère, a typical Norman farmhouse.
A separate entrance leads directly into the bright and spacious kitchen-diner with a dining table and cozy living area. In addition to the fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, and numerous kitchen utensils, there is a smart TV and board games for enjoyable evenings in front of the wood-burning stove.
Both bedrooms are furnished with double beds. In the second bedroom, the single bed can be pulled out to a 1.60 m wide sleeping area.
The small shower room offers everything you need.
You can enjoy balmy summer evenings on the terrace in front of the entrance area.
In addition to the farm’s own chickens, sheep, and cats, regular visits from deer, owls, buzzards, and many other wild animals are the order of the day. A small lake sheltered by trees completes the idyllic setting.
The house is located about 100 meters from the road and can be reached via a private road. Parking is available on the property.
The nearest town, Mortain-Bocage, with supermarkets, shops, and restaurants, is about 6 km away.
