We fell in love with our house immediately. It was a stroke of luck because it had already been completely renovated, but also because of its distinctive style. Built from local granite, it nestles against the slope of a hill as you approach from the road. The many windows and doors are eye-catching in dark green.
Only the part of the house with the vacation apartment still needed some work. The previous owners had probably lost interest at some point. So we had the old wooden floor replaced and, above all, the bathroom remodeled. Admittedly, it is and remains very small. But the old layout with a diagonally positioned electric toilet, tiny sinks, and four different types of tiles was simply awful.
